Join us every Saturday and Sunday, April – November, for our Open Park Days to explore Spiral House Park's woodland trails, beautiful gardens, and Tom Gottsleben's work on display in our sculpture field and throughout the landscape.
We are located at 185 Fish Creek Road, Saugerties, NY.
April – May, 10 am – 4 pm
June – August, 10 am – 5 pm
September – November, 10 am – 4 pm
Admission & Tickets
Grounds passes for entry to the Park are available on arrival during our Open Park Days each weekend. House, sculpture, and garden tours are by reservation only on select dates. Capacity is limited and tours frequently sell out in advance.
Grounds Pass: $15 / person
Students / Seniors / Veterans / Neighbors: $10 / person
Children Under 12: $5 / person
Members: Free
To view inside the Spiral House, a ticket is required and must be purchased for a specific date and time. Please note that house tours are not included in the Grounds Pass.
Access to the grounds is free all day if you arrive before 12 pm every first Sunday of the month during our open season.
Tickets for programs and events are available for purchase online or onsite the day of the event, though please note that capacity is limited and advance reservations are recommended. See our Program page for upcoming offerings.

Maps of our site, including 1.7 miles of woodland trails, are available at the welcome table on arrival.
Accessibility
We strive to make Spiral House Park welcoming to all visitors. Due to our location on a historic quarry, there are areas with uneven terrain. We are committed to ongoing site improvements.
Parking
ADA parking spaces are available in Program Parking, Studio Parking, and near the Spiral House.
Trails & Grounds
Our Sculpture Trail is wheelchair accessible and meets U.S. Forest Service Trail Accessibility Guidelines. Other garden and trail areas may feature uneven surfaces due to the quarry landscape. We have plans to add an ADA-accessible trail through the Sculpture Field to expand access across the site.
Building & Facilities
The Spiral House includes a spiral staircase. The main floor is currently wheelchair accessible, and we are planning future improvements to make the lower level accessible as well.
Our outdoor portable toilet is wheelchair accessible.

Rules & Policies
We look forward to welcoming you to Spiral House Park. To ensure a safe, welcoming, and environmentally responsible experience for all visitors, please observe the following guidelines:
- Smoke- and vape-free campus: Smoking and vaping are prohibited throughout the property, including all parking areas.
- No outside alcohol is permitted anywhere on the grounds.
- Dogs: Leashed dogs are welcome on designated trails. In all other areas — including the Sculpture Field — only ADA-recognized service dogs are permitted. Please help us maintain a dog-friendly park by following this rule, and by picking up after your dog.
- No motorized vehicles except those used for mobility assistance.
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- Carry in, carry out: Help us protect the landscape by taking all belongings and trash with you.
Sculpture Field, Garden & Trail Use
- Do not touch, lean on, climb, or hang from sculptures. This protects both the artwork and visitor safety.
- Stay on marked trails and use them at your own risk; natural conditions may vary.
- Ticks are common in this region. Please take appropriate precautions before exploring the grounds.
- Please do not walk in garden beds or remove any plants or plant material.
Photography
Spiral House Park has one of the finest views of multiple Catskill Mountain peaks in our region, in addition to many unique areas of interest amongst our beautiful gardens, woodland quarry trails, Tom Gottsleben’s magnificent sculptures and walls, and, of course, the work of art that is the Spiral House itself. We welcome visitors to take personal-use, non-professional photography during our public hours. Please share your experience and tag us in your photos — we love to see them!
We are also happy to accommodate professional photography for your special occasions and portraits, as well as product and commercial photography and film. Such shoots require approval, obtaining a permit in advance, and are subject to a fee. Please complete our permit application and email a completed copy to info@spiralhousepark.org.
